Job Description
Role: Manager – Fund Accounting
Location: Hyderabad
Employment Type: Permanent
Vertical: AWM
Notice period : 0 to 30 days
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of fund accountants.
- Review and sign off on NAV calculations, financial statements, and investor reports.
- Oversee fund valuations, reconciliations, audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Authorize payments and fund-related transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, operational controls, and client agreements.
- Liaise with fund managers, investors, auditors, tax advisors, administrators, and custodians.
- Drive automation initiatives and process improvements.
- Manage onboarding, workflow planning, and year-end audit coordination.
- Support team development, performance management, and training initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- 10+ years of experience in fund accounting or financial services.
- Strong hedge fund ,Private equtity accounting experience.
- 2–3 years of experience managing or leading large teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of:
- Advent Geneva
- Investran
- Other accounting platforms
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
