Job Description
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant operations of the warehouse. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to warehouse activities are current, valid, and strictly followed. Monitoring warehouse and dispensing activities for compliance with approved procedures and proper documentation.
- Conducting and scheduling training programs for staff, maintaining training records, and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Planning and executing daily and monthly warehouse activities efficiently, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials as per defined guidelines.
- Maintaining optimum stock levels of Raw Materials, Packing Materials, and Finished Goods. Preparing and submitting monthly stock reports, and communicating retest and expired materials to concerned departments.
- Coordinating with various departments for smooth operations, maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships.
- Ensuring all dispensing activities are carried out as per SOPs, and maintaining accurate records for all warehouse transactions.
- Optimizing manpower utilization, ensuring adherence to cGMP norms by all staff.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Readiness for internal and external audits, implementing corrective and preventive actions for audit observations.
- Participating in investigations related to market complaints, deviations, and incident reports.
- Ensuring calibration of all weighing balances and following up on calibration and maintenance schedules.
- Proper inspection of incoming consignments before GRN preparation, verifying documentation and compliance.
- Maintaining required regulatory compliance and coordinating procurement activities.
- Handling dispatch of finished goods, preparing packing lists, arranging transportation, and ensuring timely dispatch for orders.
- Implementing cGMP and GDP practices within the warehouse.
- Performing any other duties assigned by management in case of urgency or business requirements.
Qualifications Required:
- 12-15 years of experience in a Formulation Pharmaceutical Plant.
- Relevant experience in a Pharma formulation plant.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, email, and internet functions.
- Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management systems (ERP/SAP).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
