Vallely Mitola Ryan PLLC is a fast-growing law firm in the field of real estate. We specialize in the representation of clients in the commercial & residential mortgage industry. Our areas of focus include foreclosure, bridge lending, mortgage acquisition/sale (performing/non-performing mortgages), commercial buy/sell and loan workouts. The experience of the attorneys and paralegals in Vallely Mitola Ryan include the participation in well over twenty-five thousand foreclosures, thousands of bridge lending transactions, and countless purchase and sale transactions of both mortgages and real property. We do not focus on cookie cutter solutions or useless litigation, rather, our only focus is the best result for our clients through any available avenues.
We are currently seeking an individual to assist in our commercial and residential foreclosure department. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one to two years of law firm experience in a fast-paced legal environment who is able to manage competing priorities. Knowledge of residential and/or commercial foreclosure a plus.
Duties
- Provide direct administrative and legal support to the department.
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines and court dates.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts and opposing counsel.
- Coordinate filings with court, e-filing systems, clients and outside parties.
- Maintain case management systems.
Skills
- Computer literacy of Word, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook.
- Knowledge of submission and filing in NYSCEF, a plus.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and legal documents.
Salary:
· Starting at $50,000/year commensurate with experience for the right candidate
