Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications within the CSG Software environment
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable mobile solutions
- Build high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code for Android platforms
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services into Android applications
- Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and stability across devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, crashes, and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release activities
- Work with QA teams for testing, defect fixing, and production support
- Contribute to app architecture, feature enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain technical documentation and support release management activities
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Android application development
- Good experience in Java and/or Kotlin
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile app lifecycle
- Experience in building native Android applications
- Experience in integrating REST APIs / web services
- Good knowledge of UI design principles, layouts, and responsive design for Android
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and memory optimization
- Knowledge of SQLite / Room / local storage
- Familiarity with Git / version control systems
- Understanding of build and release process for Android apps
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MVVM / MVP / Clean Architecture
- Knowledge of Jetpack components
- Experience with Firebase
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment
- Experience in unit testing / UI testing
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
