- Plan appraisal actions for the acquisition of property and property rights for various projects.
- Exercise technical and administrative supervision over a team of professional and technical employees.
- Give authoritative oral advice on a wide variety of questions covering branch operations.
- Provide expert project management for various real estate technical services branch activities.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires that the incumbent possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel of up to 25% of the time may be required.
- This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment.
- In addition to security clearance requirement, the individual must be able to meet Intelligence Community requirements for access to secure space and equipment. Individual must be able to >> continued to next line
- pass a polygraph test or a series of polygraph tests and continue to pass the polygraph test on a periodic basis.
- This position requires participation in the Department of Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program to include passing a urinalysis drug testing prior to appointment and passing random urinalysis drug testing after appointment.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 17- Nov-2011.
- Incumbent must be a State Certified General Appraiser. You MUST submit a copy of your current and valid Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license with your application.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Performing complex real estate appraisals to determine market value for a variety of property types; 2) Analyzing technical appraisal issues and providing recommendations to senior leadership; 3) Providing technical guidance to team members on real estate and appraisal-related tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
