About the Role

URVA Consulting is hiring on behalf of a well-established Indian-managed manufacturing unit in Ghana (West Africa).

We are looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant who is comfortable managing daily cash book writing, petty cash handling, and basic accounting activities in a factory environment.

This role is suitable for candidates who have worked in small factory or operational setups, where accounting work is practical and execution-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily cash book entries accurately
• Handle petty cash management independently
• Maintain day book and ledger entries
• Record daily expenses and payments
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
• Track vendor payments and expenses
• Support basic reconciliation activities
• Assist in maintaining stock and expense records
• Coordinate with factory staff for daily expense tracking

Candidate Requirements:

• 4–7 years of accounting experience
• Strong practical experience in daily cash book writing is mandatory
• Hands-on experience in petty cash handling
• Experience in factory or small manufacturing environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Working knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software
• B.Com / M.Com preferred
• Must be comfortable working in factory-based environment
• Willingness to relocate to Ghana (West Africa) is mandatory
