Solution Engineer - Level 2

Job Description

Role: Solutions Architect - Digital

• Experience in successfully architecting / developing solutions in area of IoT / Cloud Modernization / Cloud Migration / Application Modernization / DevOps / Data Engineering / ML / AI.
• Experience in handling / owning large RFIs / RFPs independently during pre-sales cycle.
• Experience in coming up with engineering estimates / cloud infrastructure sizing and estimates.
• Experience in evaluating new technologies.
• Experience in Azure / AWS cloud platform.
• Foundation Skills (Mandatory) –
• Architecting cloud software solutions by considering (1) Scalability (2) Security (3) Reliability (4) Performance Efficiency and (5) Cloud cost Optimization following “Well Architected” guidelines
• Experience in establishing monitoring of application and infrastructure.
• Experience in serverless applications.
• Come up with cost forecasts for cloud resource consumption.
• Preferred experience: 8 to 10 years
• Preferred certificates: Azure / AWS solution architect – associate / professional or TOGAF
• Preferred skills (Good to have at least understanding of them)
• AI/ML
• Generative AI
• Image analytics / identification
• Experience in establishing central data repository for an organization to be used for analytics.
• Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for translating customer requirements into consistent, compliant, value-added solutions, creating associated cost models and associated proposal documentation, managing due diligence and assisting SOW creation and contract negotiations, as needed.
• Work with Practice SMEs to form integrated solution offerings.
• Work with marketing on building Industry offering.
• Be updated with latest developments in cloud platform. Use that knowledge to address customer requirements efficiently.
• Build to enhance partnership with technology providers (like Amazon, Microsoft) or companies having unique technologies that can be used in our solution – e.g. Blockchain, data analytics, mixed reality etc.
• Preferred: Develop PoC for new technology. Helps to build skills in engineering team by defining and implementing new use cases involving new technology.
