Overview

This role is a unique opportunity to join a cross-functional product team responsible for delivering high-quality reporting and analytics capabilities within a modern SaaS platform. The QA engineer will play a critical role in ensuring reliability, accuracy, and usability across new product modules. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to validate end-to-end user workflows, ensuring that data flows correctly from backend services through to

frontend presentation. This is a greenfield engagement, providing the opportunity to shape testing practices,influence quality standards, and contribute to the stability of a high-impact product used Internationally.

About The Project

The QA engineer will support the delivery of new reporting and analytics modules within a SaaS platform, ensuring features are stable, reliable, and production-ready.

Key testing areas include:

• Validation of reporting dashboards and analytics views
• Verification of data flow from backend APIs to frontend UI
• End-to-end testing of user workflows across the platform
• Regression testing for sprint releases

The QA engineer will collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers to identify issues early and ensure smooth releases

Architecture & tooling:

The platform is a modern web-based SaaS product integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and analytics services.

The QA engineer will validate functionality across the following stack:

Application stack

• Web-based frontend applications
• API-driven backend services
• Data analytics and reporting modules

Testing & QA tooling

• E2E testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Test case management and tracking in Jira
• API validation and frontend/backend integration testing

Infrastructure context

• Cloud-hosted SaaS platform
• Agile development environment with sprint-based releases

The QA engineer will test end-to-end user flows, API responses, and frontend data rendering, ensuring reliable interaction between services and a consistent user

Experience.

Must-Have Experience & Skills

Technical

• 3+ years experience designing and executing end-to-end tests for web applications
• Strong experience working with Jira and QA processes in agile teams
• Experience validating frontend and backend integration
• Ability to identify, document, and communicate root causes of issues clearly
• Experience working with API-driven systems

Automation (Bonus)

• Experience using E2E automation tools such as:

○ Cypress

○ Playwright

○ Selenium

Nice-to-Have

• Experience simulating network conditions or connectivity disruptions during testing
• Familiarity with automated test pipelines

Business & Delivery

• Fluent technical English
• Experience working in distributed remote teams
• Comfortable operating in SCRUM environments

Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers

• Design and execute end-to-end test plans for reporting and analytics features
• Define and maintain test cases within Jira
• Validate full user workflows across frontend and backend systems
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
• Support regression testing cycles for sprint releases
• Contribute to automated E2E test coverage (where applicable)
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies and raise quality concerns early

Success Criteria

Successful candidates will:

• Quickly establish robust E2E test coverage for new features
• Identify and document issues clearly and efficiently
• Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to resolve blockers before release
• Contribute to stable deployments and minimal regression defects
