Job Description

As a Regional Demand Planner at our company, your role will involve strategic, tactical, and operational activities to ensure effective demand planning and forecasting for the region.

  • *Role Overview:**

You will be responsible for defining and tracking regional demand KPIs, following global demand planning frameworks, supporting the adoption of AI/ML forecasting solutions, and driving budgeting and annual demand planning exercises for the region.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Define and track regional demand KPIs such as MAPE, Bias, and Fidelity
  • Follow global demand planning frameworks into regional execution across SKUs and markets
  • Support adoption of AI/ML forecasting solutions with focus on segmentation
  • Partner with the Global S&OP CoE to ensure regional plans align with global forecasting standards
  • Drive budgeting and annual demand planning exercises for the region
  • Run and monitor regional demand review sessions
  • Track and manage a regional SKU based demand list
  • Align demand and supply to balance inventory health and service levels
  • Monitor product margins and incorporate marketing promotions into demand planning process
  • Drive regular portfolio rationalization drives across geographies
  • Create and maintain DP templates for region align with APS platform requirements
  • Manage demand planning readiness for New Product Launches
  • Provide regular updates to regional leadership on demand risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
  • Maintain clean data and accurate forecast inputs in APS/SONAR systems
  • Drive APS/SONAR adoption, ensure user training, and promote system-driven forecasting
  • Share feedback with Global CoE on tool usability and regional customization needs
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • Strong understanding of demand planning processes and tools
  • Proficiency in forecasting techniques and methodologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in using APS/SONAR systems is a plus
