As a Regional Demand Planner at our company, your role will involve strategic, tactical, and operational activities to ensure effective demand planning and forecasting for the region.
- *Role Overview:**
You will be responsible for defining and tracking regional demand KPIs, following global demand planning frameworks, supporting the adoption of AI/ML forecasting solutions, and driving budgeting and annual demand planning exercises for the region.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and track regional demand KPIs such as MAPE, Bias, and Fidelity
- Follow global demand planning frameworks into regional execution across SKUs and markets
- Support adoption of AI/ML forecasting solutions with focus on segmentation
- Partner with the Global S&OP CoE to ensure regional plans align with global forecasting standards
- Drive budgeting and annual demand planning exercises for the region
- Run and monitor regional demand review sessions
- Track and manage a regional SKU based demand list
- Align demand and supply to balance inventory health and service levels
- Monitor product margins and incorporate marketing promotions into demand planning process
- Drive regular portfolio rationalization drives across geographies
- Create and maintain DP templates for region align with APS platform requirements
- Manage demand planning readiness for New Product Launches
- Provide regular updates to regional leadership on demand risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
- Maintain clean data and accurate forecast inputs in APS/SONAR systems
- Drive APS/SONAR adoption, ensure user training, and promote system-driven forecasting
- Share feedback with Global CoE on tool usability and regional customization needs
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Strong understanding of demand planning processes and tools
- Proficiency in forecasting techniques and methodologies
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Experience in using APS/SONAR systems is a plus
