Job description

This role is for someone who:

Has built a content strategy from scratch inside a coaching, info-product, or consulting business and knows exactly what it takes to make it achieve stellar results

Wants to be the content strategist, the writer, and the executor with an eye for performance, details and conversions

Sets a high bar for their own output and drives toward results without needing direction, deadlines set by others, or external pressure

You’ll be responsible for crafting and running the content engine behind two growth funnels: UpCounting’s client acquisition and the personal brand of co-founder Abir. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy and hands-on execution and directly impacts how we reach and convert the right clients.

💰 The salary range for this role is CAD 4k - 10k/month, depending on location and experience. We're happy to consider both employee and independent contractor engagements.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for the following core areas:

📝 Content Ownership

Own the full content operation: ideation, scripting, production, distribution, and analytics across short-form video, long-form posts, email sequences, and webinar content

Develop and maintain a clear point of view on the avatar and the message without a brief required. You know who we are talking to, what moves them, and how to reach them

Build a content system that runs consistently, not just when there is bandwidth. That means frameworks, a repeatable production rhythm

🎯 Funnel Ownership and Optimization

Own the content side of the growth funnel end to end, including awareness, lead generation, nurture, and conversion sequences tied to webinars, lead magnets, and high-ticket offers

Identify what is working and what is not, make a call, and change it. You do not wait to be told, you bring a recommendation with the reasoning behind it

Design and iterate on distribution strategies across the platforms where the avatar lives: LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X, and email

📊 Performance and Iteration

Track performance across content and funnel stages. Know your numbers, know what they mean, and use them to drive the next decision

Run your own analysis. Identify patterns, diagnose drop-off points, and build a feedback loop between what you publish and what you change

Operate inside an automation infrastructure that is actively being built. You will not build the technical layer, but you will feed it, shape what gets automated, and document your frameworks so they scale

Required

5+ years in a content marketing or growth marketing role, with a meaningful portion of that time owning the function independently inside a coaching brand, info-product business, course business, or high-ticket service

Demonstrated ability to build and run a content funnel without day-to-day direction. You have owned strategy, execution, and iteration

A portfolio that shows content you have written, published, and tracked. Scripts, email sequences, posts, and webinar copy all count

Hands-on experience with tools from the coaching and info-product world such as GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels, Skool, webinar platforms, or similar

You will review existing content, understand the funnel infrastructure, and meet the people building it. Your goal in the first week is to understand the avatar deeply and start identifying where you can add leverage fast.

After 1 Month

You are producing content consistently, without needing review on every piece. You have a working understanding of the funnel and where content fits into each stage. You have shipped enough to know what is resonating.

In 3 Months

You own the function end-to-end. You are running your own analysis, iterating on what works, and making decisions without being asked. The funnel is moving, you know exactly why, and you are already thinking about what comes next.
