Role Description The Machine Operator for EPS moulding machines will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining EPS moulding equipment to produce components according to specifications. This full-time, on-site position is based in Amb and involves setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and ensuring correct mould changes as required for production schedules. The role includes performing basic preventive maintenance, checking raw materials, and safely using hand tools for minor adjustments and cleaning. The operator will perform visual and dimensional checks on finished products, separate non-conforming items, and document production data. Daily tasks also include following safety procedures, coordinating with supervisors and maintenance teams, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Machine operation skills, including experience operating or learning EPS moulding machines or similar industrial machinery.
• Ability to work with machinery and hand tools safely for setup, minor adjustments, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Quality control mindset with the ability to inspect products, identify defects, and follow standard quality procedures.
• Clear communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, maintenance staff, and team members on production and safety matters.
• Basic technical understanding of manufacturing processes and willingness to learn equipment-specific procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle moderate physical tasks, and follow safety and housekeeping standards.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation is preferred but motivated entry-level candidates may be considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial trades is an advantage.
