Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Order Picker to join our team. This role involves picking and packing orders accurately, handling materials, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details:
- Regular Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Opportunity for extended hours: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (based on performance and workload)
- Friday Schedule: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders (nuts and bolts) based on pick tickets
- Perform order picking using manual methods or equipment as required
- Handle, move, and organize materials within the warehouse
- Ensure all orders are prepared and packed correctly for shipment
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong communication skills (good spoken and written English is required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is an asset
- Valid G Driver’s License is an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
