Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Project Manager located in Washington Metropolitan Area. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. The role includes coordinating expediting activities, managing logistics, performing inspections, and supporting the Project Manager to ensure that project milestones and quality standards are met on time and within budget. Strong communication with team members, clients, and vendors is an essential component of the daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Expeditor and Expediting processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Strong Project Management expertise, including planning, scheduling, and effective task delegation.
- Experience in conducting project Inspections to monitor progress and maintain quality standards.
- Knowledge of Logistics Management, including coordinating transportation and supply chain activities.
- Effective communication and organizational skills for collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining adherence to project timelines and goals.
- Previous experience in the construction, maintenance, or renovation industry is an advantage.
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or a related field is a Must.
- A solid background in material submittals is essential, including the ability to prepare, review, and manage submittals in alignment with project specifications and schedules for all trades.
