Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse environment! In this energetic role, you will operate various types of heavy equipment—including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks—to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure smooth operations, accurate order picking, and safe shipping and receiving processes. Duties

• Safely operate forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Manage order picking tasks with precision using equipment like pickers and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Assist in warehouse management activities including inventory control, stock replenishment, and updating warehouse management systems.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or coordinate maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
• Handle materials with care during loading, unloading, stacking, and storage to prevent damage or safety hazards.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying shipment contents against documentation and ensuring proper documentation is completed.
• Follow OSHA safety standards diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Experience

• Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or pallet jacks within a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse distribution workflows.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
• Previous experience in shipping & receiving operations is highly desirable.
