We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional for the role of Underwriting & Placement Executive in the Non-Life Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, sound technical knowledge of commercial insurance products, and excellent communication and coordination skills.

The candidate must have prior experience working with Direct Insurance Brokers or General Insurance Companies and should be capable of independently handling risk assessment, RFQ preparation, policy analysis, and insurer coordination across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse insurance proposals, supporting documents, and relevant client data to assess risks and prepare comprehensive RFQs for insurers.
• Handle underwriting and placement activities for Property, Marine, CAR, EAR, Liability, Group Health, and Personal Accident Insurance policies.
• Evaluate quotations received from insurers, compare coverage terms, conditions, exclusions, and premium rates, and recommend suitable insurance solutions to clients.
• Coordinate with insurers for quotations, negotiations, policy issuance, endorsements, and clarifications.
• Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to gather additional information and ensure timely servicing of client requirements.
• Review existing insurance policies and recommend amendments based on changes in risk exposure or client requirements.
• Communicate underwriting decisions, insurer feedback, and policy recommendations effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to underwriting, quotations, and policy placements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, underwriting practices, and competitor offerings.
• Participate in internal trainings and professional development initiatives to strengthen technical and underwriting capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good understanding of commercial and corporate insurance products.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments within timelines.
• Strong coordination and negotiation skills with insurers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Insurance certifications such as III, IRDAI-related certifications, or equivalent shall be preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Non-Life Insurance with Direct Insurance Brokers or General Insurers.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
