Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant/Bookkeeper with expertise in Indian and U.S. accounting standards. The professional in this role will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with Indian and U.S. regulations. Responsibilities include GST and income tax filing, TDS compliance, payroll processing, managing accounts payable/receivable, and preparing reports for financial analysis and audits. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records will be a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Indian and U.S. accounting standards, including a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax regulations.
• Experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general ledger reconciliation using accounting software tools like ZohoBooks, QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and reports for audits and compliance purposes across dual jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote and dynamic team environment.
• Prior experience in handling cross-border taxation or cross-jurisdiction transactions is a plus.
