Job Description
You will be responsible for effectively handling all claims above Rs. 1 Cr and executing the renewal plan for existing property and corporate insurance policies. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing renewal plan for timely renewal of all property insurance policies across all business units to avoid any period of non-coverage.
- Providing guidance in drafting technical quote slips.
- Compiling and maintaining policy-wise claims data to evaluate historic policy performance and optimize renewal premium.
- Supporting in negotiations for finalizing insurance coverage.
- Reviewing policy documents to ensure smooth policy and claims administration.
- Verifying draft renewal work plan and data collection templates for all units.
- Giving clarifications regarding guidelines.
- Analyzing data for renewal, highlighting key developments for drafting technical quote slips.
- Compiling and analyzing different quotes submitted by insurance companies.
- Evaluating premium working for finalizing policy in line with agreed quote.
- Checking policy documentation for errors or omissions and highlighting to superior/broker.
- Coordinating with units and valuer for data collection once in three years.
- Ensuring prompt settlement of all property insurance claims above Rs. 1 Cr.
- Intimating claims to insurance company and surveyor, guiding units through claim process.
- Following up for prompt settlement and seeking additional information for claim eligibility.
- Coordinating survey and updating units during reinstatement period.
- Guiding units for document collection, checking documents before submission.
- Following up with surveyors and insurance companies for settlement.
- Updating units and accounts upon claim settlement.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor's degree + MBA (Preferred)
- Certification in Risk Assessment & Management
