Job Description
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Safely operate forklifts in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material. Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
- Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
- Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
- Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
- Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
- Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products.
- Must be able to read a tape measure. Accurately pull daily orders.
Required credentials:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
- Prior lumber experience desired.
- Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
- Must have basic math and analytical skills.
Pay Rate $20.50/Hr. based on experience.
