Compensation: $75K–$85K + strong growth trajectory

We’re partnering with a rapidly expanding, nationally recognized financial services firm to identify a Senior Staff Accountant to join a growing, high-impact accounting team. The Opportunity

This role sits at the center of the accounting function and will support the buildout of a best-in-class finance operation. You’ll work closely with leadership to improve processes, enhance reporting, and ensure a clean, scalable accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Maintain and manage the general ledger and financial reporting processes
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Assist in developing internal controls, workflows, and approval processes
  • Support AP, payroll, and day-to-day accounting operations
  • Contribute to multi-entity / multi-location reporting (P&Ls)
  • Help build and refine month-end close checklists and procedures
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)
  • 2–5 years of corporate accounting experience (GL, accrals, close, reconciliations)
  • Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
