Overview
A growing organization is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Coordinator to support end-to-end payroll processing and multi-state payroll tax compliance. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations while partnering closely with HR and Accounting.
Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly and monthly payroll, including bonuses and off-cycle runs
- Maintain and update payroll records (timecards, deductions, reimbursements, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Manage multi-state payroll tax registrations and resolve tax notices
- Generate payroll reports using ADP Workforce Now
- Support onboarding and offboarding payroll activities
- Assist with year-end processes (W-2s, reconciliations, reporting)
- Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure data accuracy and alignment
- Troubleshoot payroll system issues and xywuqvp coordinate with ADP as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll
- Strong understanding of payroll taxes and compliance requirements
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (required)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
