Title: Entry Level Staff Accountant

Location: Arlington, VA (hybrid)

Compensation:$60,000-72,000 per year

Our client, a large financial services firm, is looking to add an Entry Level Staff Accountant to their growing accounting department. This position goes into the client's Arlington, VA office on a hybrid schedule. Successful incumbent will have a Bachelors Degree and 1+ year of accounting experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
• Process accounts payable invoices
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Journal entries
• Month-end close assistance

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• 1-3 years of accounting experience or an internship held in accounting (required)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
