TSC is seeking a Systems Engineer, in King George, VA This position supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.

Responsibilities:
The position will focus leading current and future radar system design and production. The position will support technology developments, technology insertions, prototyping and technology demonstrations in support of a mission critical and highly visible new program. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Performing complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or sensor software development.
- Experienced in formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the engineering tasks associated with the radar/sensor program/project.
- Perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer or electronics engineering. Other acceptable majors include mathematics, computer science or physics.
- RADAR systems integration and Test position in the SPY 6 program.
- Established testing experience both pre and post production and understands the connected working of a shipboard RADAR system.
- Specifically the operations of phased array RADARs in a shipboard environment as well as the interfaces and inner working of RADAR systems and how the RADAR interfaces with the AEGIS weapons system.
- A minimum of 8 years industry and/or DoD experience
- Familiarization with the Dual Band Radar (DBR) systems
- Ability to read and understand or modify master and inch stone schedules as they apply to testing, development and into production.
- A minimum of active secret clearance and US Citizenship required
