Tech Lead & Architect React/React Native

As a dynamic Tech Lead & Architect specializing in React (Web) and React Native (Mobile), your role involves leading engineering teams and setting technical direction for high-growth products. You will play a key role in designing highly scalable front-end architectures, mentoring developers, and collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and architect robust and scalable React/React Native applications for web and mobile platforms.
• Own the technical roadmap: drive decision-making on frameworks, architecture, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and backend engineers to define and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Guide and mentor the development team on coding standards, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Architect and implement efficient state management, modular design, and code reusability strategies.
• Oversee API integration, security, and compliance-especially relevant in fintech/BFSI/e-commerce domains.
• Champion automation, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and release management for rapid delivery.
• Stay updated with new technologies and propose adoption where advantageous.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6-11 years of hands-on experience in front-end engineering, with extensive work on React and React Native applications.
• Strong in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux/MobX, and modern state management approaches.
• Demonstrated leadership in team management, technical mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience building and shipping large-scale, consumer-facing products in a startup or high-velocity environment.
• Understanding of performance tuning, security, responsive design, accessibility, and design systems.
• Skilled in API integration (REST/GraphQL), and familiar with Node.js and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Exposure to CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and app store/play store processes.

Preferred

• Prior experience in Indian fintech, BFSI, or e-commerce startups.
• Familiarity with app security, payments, compliance, analytics, and A/B testing.
• Open-source or tech community contributions.
