Role : Senior Python Developer

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on software development experience using Python
• Strong experience with:
• Python programming
• Pandas and NumPy libraries
• Git/version control
• Unit testing frameworks (PyTest preferred)
• SQL and relational databases
• Experience with data platforms such as:
• Snowflake
• Databricks
• SQL Server
• 1–2 years of experience with containerization/orchestration tools:
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Podman
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Candidate must be local to Virginia and available for onsite interviews

Key Responsibilities

• Refactor and modernize ETL application components for improved scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Develop and enhance data processing and cohorting engines
• Perform end-to-end testing and parallel validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Build data profiling and quality control reporting solutions
• Establish monitoring and operational metrics for implemented solutions
• Diagnose defects, reduce technical debt, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong automated test coverage
• Collaborate with teams across data, APIs, services, and infrastructure layers
• Support infrastructure upgrades and platform migrations
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation
• Document technical findings, solutions, and implementation outcomes
