Oracle DBA -- Hybrid -- Only W2 Profiles

Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Frist 2 Weeks (Onsite) in Washington DC

Financial domain experience is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Oracle database environments (11g/12c/19c).
• Monitor database performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform database tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
• Implement and maintain database security and compliance standards.
• Handle database patching, migrations, and upgrades.
• Support DR (Disaster Recovery) setups such as Data Guard.
• Work closely with infrastructure and application teams in a data center (DC) environment.
• Ensure adherence to financial industry regulations and data security standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle DBA activities (installation, configuration, maintenance).
• Expertise in RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning.
• Experience in handling production support in a 24/7 environment.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Good understanding of database security and compliance.
