About TRC:

TRC is partnering with a global leader in medical technology to identify a Distribution IT Lead supporting a critical warehouse and distribution operation in Greenwood, IN. This is a highly visible onsite role where you will serve as the primary IT presence for both operational systems and corporate end users, helping ensure seamless day-to-day functionality across the facility.

Summary

The Distribution IT Lead will provide hands-on IT support across warehouse operations, desktop environments, Microsoft 365, conference room systems, and basic network troubleshooting within a Cisco environment. This role serves as the primary onsite IT resource, partnering closely with warehouse operations teams while coordinating with remote infrastructure and network engineering teams for escalations and advanced support. The ideal candidate brings strong desktop support experience with exposure to warehouse technologies and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onsite IT resource for end-user support and warehouse operations
  • Provide hands-on support across hardware, software, Windows environments, and Microsoft 365
  • Support warehouse technologies including RF scanners, handheld devices, tablets, and WMS platforms
  • Perform basic wireless and network troubleshooting within a Cisco environment and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Assist with laptop and desktop imaging, deployment, setup, and maintenance
  • Support conference room technology including Teams Rooms, displays, and audio/video systems
  • Manage and resolve IT support tickets with strong communication and timely follow-up
  • Use remote support tools to assist users and troubleshoot issues across the site
  • Partner with operations teams to understand workflows and improve overall IT support processes
  • Maintain clear documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard support procedures

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of IT support, desktop support, or onsite technical support experience
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 (O365) and Windows-based environments
  • Experience supporting warehouse or distribution center technology including WMS, RF scanners, and handheld devices
  • Exposure to Cisco networking environments including basic WiFi and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting conference room technology and A/V systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently as the primary onsite IT resource
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users

Preferred

  • Experience with tools such as Wireshark, tracert, or similar diagnostic tools
  • Exposure to cloud security tools
  • Experience using remote support platforms
