Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician located in Baltimore, MD. You will be coordinating plumbing and mechanical piping on schools, airports, recreational centers etc. The CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs based on project specifications, collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure design accuracy, and maintaining up-to-date project documentation. Additional responsibilities include refining and revising designs as necessary and troubleshooting design issues to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and technical drawing tools
- Knowledge of Technical Support and troubleshooting for CAD software and related systems
- Understanding of Operating Systems and their application to design software environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical blueprints and specifications
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in team settings
- Associate's degree or certification in CAD, engineering, architecture, or a related technical field is preferred
- Experience in the construction industry or mechanical systems is a HUGE plus
