Job Description
As a Laboratory Supervisor, your role involves planning, organizing, and supervising day-to-day lab activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all departmental KPIs are met and preparing the QC department monthly report. It is essential to ensure that all laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained as per schedule. Additionally, you will oversee product audits for Mahape and toll blenders, as well as cross-functional supplier audits according to the planned schedule. Implementing good housekeeping practices in the laboratory and completing all requirements of the Production Part Approval Process are crucial aspects of your job. You will also handle OPEX and Capex related purchases for the QC lab and support new product development and cost-saving projects by finalizing lab blends. Periodically reviewing AIE, CTA, HIRA, and effectively implementing QMS, EMS, and OHSMS at the laboratory are part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, ensuring the effective closure of customer complaints (internal & external) and supporting the reprocessing of non-moving products and raw materials are key tasks. Performing Measurement System Analysis as per plan, testing & reporting Round Robin samples, reporting near misses & unsafe acts/conditions, providing RFC-FTR to Mahape plant, toll blenders, and uploading formulation in SAP, as well as conducting eSTL & PGI as per monthly targets are also part of your duties.
Qualifications Required:
- Postgraduate in Science with Chemistry as a major subject
- Work experience of 6 to 9 years
