Job Overview
Toronto Height Construction is hiring a detail-oriented Auto CAD & Construction Management Worker to support our growing portfolio of residential and commercial projects across the GTA. You will be responsible for preparing permit drawings, architectural plans, and construction layouts in compliance with the Ontario Building Code and municipal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Legal basement conversions
- Home additions & renovations
- Residential & small commercial projects
- Develop permit-ready drawings for submission to municipalities
- Review zoning by-laws and ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code (OBC)
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and engineers
- Revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions
- Assist with permit application and approval process
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year experience in AutoCAD drafting or architectural design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and permit process (preferred)
- Experience with basement permits / renovation drawings is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preffered Skills
- Experience with Revit, SketchUp, or 3D modeling tools
- Understanding of structural & MEP coordination
- Familiarity with GTA municipalities (Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto)
- Must have G2 or G driving licence
