We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager with a proven track record of territory management to join our sales team. This is a newly created role to support our growth in Western Canada, primarily in Calgary, Edmonton, and Greater Vancouver. In this key role, you will drive sales growth by providing tailored compressed air solutions to industry, building strong relationships, and offering expert guidance and training to enhance product adoption.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Travel regularly within the territory to meet with customers and potential partners, understand their needs, and present our compressed air solutions.
  • Build long-term partnerships by providing expert guidance and reliable support.
  • Support distributors in optimizing the performance, efficiency, and safety of their clients' compressed air systems.
  • Develop business relationships with engineering firms and mechanical contractors to promote Topring’s solutions.
  • Train distributors on our range of innovative products, making joint calls with their representatives and managing the existing book of business with a focus on expanding product breadth and sales programs.
  • Contact end-users to evaluate compressed air use and technically advise on solutions.
  • Represent Topring at industry events and trade shows, networking with key partners and identifying business opportunities.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience within industrial distribution networks.
  • Knowledge of compressed air, pneumatics, or a strong willingness to learn.
  • College diploma in business administration, a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong sales skills, including communication, relationship management, and negotiation.
  • Autonomy, proactiveness, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective time management.
  • Ability to plan and organize activities strategically across the assigned territory.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the territory.

Important: Only candidates legally authorized to work in Canada will be considered.

Although Topring’s head office is located in Quebec, you are expected to reside in Calgary or Edmonton. Frequent travel within the territory (Western Canada, primarily Calgary, Edmonton, and Greater Vancouver) is required as part of your responsibilities. You will also be required to travel to our head office on a quarterly basis, a great opportunity to connect with colleagues. When not travelling within the assigned territory, working from home is possible.

WHO WILL YOU BE COLLABORATING WITH

  • You will join our sales team of 15 people based across Quebec and Ontario, and you will report to the National Sales Director, based in Québec.
  • You will also collaborate with colleagues from various teams: customer support, procurement, technical, administration, marketing, warehouse, as well as talent and culture. The Topring team includes 75 passionate and experienced people with complementary strengths and diverse interests.
  • For this position, French is not required, as the customers you will interact with are based in Western Canada and your immediate colleagues are either bilingual or English-speaking. That said, you will still be regularly exposed to French, as much of the broader team is French speaking.

  • Compensation: We offer for this position, a competitive salary, a personal incentive program, a team incentive program, as well as a car allowance. The expected total annual compensation for this role, including base salary and variable compensation, ranges from $100,000 to $130,000.
