Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records across ERP systems, third-party logistics providers, and contract manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory accuracy, support product availability, and uphold compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards while contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Control
- Execute inventory transactions and reconcile stock across ERP systems and virtual plant locations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal systems, warehouse reports, and external partners
- Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and audit activities
- Track inventory movements, transfers, and adjustments to maintain accurate records
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Distribution teams to resolve inventory issues
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to processes
- Assist with inventory-related impacts from system implementations, migrations, or process improvements
Compliance & Process Support
- Ensure inventory activities comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDP, SOX)
- Support development and maintenance of SOPs and work instructions
- Assist in investigations involving damaged, expired, or non-conforming inventory
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Adaptable and comfortable navigating change and ambiguity
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–3+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or logistics
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences preferred
