Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will assist senior attorneys in handling a diverse range of legal matters, ensuring compliance, and supporting the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional legal services. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis.
• Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
• Support attorneys in managing cases across various practice areas such as family law, protective orders, litigation, landlord-tenant law, and more.
• Participate in client meetings and hearings by preparing necessary documentation and taking detailed notes.
• Review case files, evidence, and legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain organized case management records and assist in tracking deadlines and court filings.
• Conduct legal research related to specific cases or issues using Westlaw or LexisNexis to support litigation strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and prepare for negotiations or court proceedings.
• Support the firm’s administrative functions by managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple practice areas including family law, protective orders, litigation, landlord-tenant law, and more.
• Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
• Experience with legal drafting and administrative tasks within a law office environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues critically and provide well-supported recommendations.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, courts, and external agencies.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently. Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
