Manager-Legal

You will be joining Times Internet, India's largest digital products company, known for building premium digital products that simplify and enhance people's everyday lives. As the Manager- Legal, you will play a crucial role in the legal aspects of the business, particularly focusing on digital media and fintech industry. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on complex business transactions and fintech-related issues such as credit card systems, digital payments, and financial technologies.
• Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing various agreements including content licensing agreement, service agreements, NDAs, LOIs, and business agreements with vendors and service providers.
• Ensuring compliance with information technology/internet laws, copyright, trademarks, data privacy regulations, and other relevant laws.
• Providing legal advice on media laws, intellectual property, data protection, consumer protection, advertising, and marketing laws.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in digital media/publisher industry.
• Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ethical conduct and high integrity standards.
• Bachelor's / Masters degree in Law from a Tier 1 law school.
