Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes
• Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with menu planning to optimize ingredient use and streamline meal preparation
• Set up workstations, organize ingredients, and manage kitchen tools including knives with precision
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck’s kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations
• Serve customers directly when needed, providing friendly and prompt service
• Support catering orders and special events by preparing large quantities of food as required

Experience

• Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly valued for understanding food handling protocols
• Proven restaurant or food industry experience, especially in fast-paced or fine dining settings
• Strong culinary background with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Skilled in knife techniques, portion control, and meal presentation
• Experience with menu planning, catering services, or serving in a mobile kitchen environment is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
