We're looking for self-starters who want to run like their own business — inside ours. You pick a vertical, build your own pipeline, and own the full cycle from first touch to landed client. You won't be handed a list and a script. You'll be handed the freedom to figure out what works, with us backing the spend and helping at every step until you're ready to run solo.

This is for people who'd rather build something than be managed.

Who Thrive is

Thrive Creative is a Calgary-based software development firm. We embed as our clients' full engineering department — usage-based, no minimums, no lock-in. We solve a real problem for companies that need to build software but don't want to stand up a whole team to do it. That's an easy thing to sell when you believe it, and we do.

What you'd actually do

You'd operate as a self-contained unit:

• Pick your lane. Choose a target vertical you find interesting or have an angle into. You justify it, you own it.
• Generate your own demand. Run the marketing, outreach, and prospecting however you can defend. We fund the ad spend and tooling — your job is to find what converts.
• Run the full cycle. Prospect, qualify, close, and hand off to delivery with light scoping. You see deals through.
• Build a book. The clients you land are clients you brought in. That's the whole point.

You won't do this alone at the start — you'll have support across every part of the motion (demand gen, qualifying, scoping, closing) until you've shown you can run on your own. Then we get out of your way.

How you're paid

This is a commission-based contract role. You're compensated on landed clients — we fund the spend to get you there. We're genuinely open about structure: if you've got a model for how you want to be compensated, bring it. We'd rather have a conversation than dictate terms.

This is not a salaried role. It's built for people who want upside tied to what they build.

Who this is for

We're not picky about your background. We care about whether you're the kind of person who sees an open door and walks through it. This could be:

• Your way to break into sales or growth without a traditional resume for it
• An entrepreneurial run where you get to build a book of business with a real product behind you and someone else funding the experiments

If you're self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by ownership over a steady paycheque, this fits.
