You will be working as a Scientist-I in the Protein Biology team at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Bangalore, India. - *Role Overview:**
As a Scientist-I in the Protein Biology team, your main responsibility will be to contribute to the antibody validation workflow by understanding target biology validation and validating antibodies for reproducibility using innovative methods. You will be expected to demonstrate scientific proficiency in experimental planning and execution, maintain meticulous experimental design, and keep accurate records of results. Your role will also involve staying updated on developments in the field of antibody validation and presenting data in various formats.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Contribute to antibody validation workflow and validate antibodies for reproducibility
- Demonstrate scientific proficiency in experimental planning and execution
- Maintain meticulous experimental design and record keeping
- Stay updated on developments in the field of antibody validation
- Compile and present data in written and oral formats
- Participate actively in team meetings and adhere to schedules
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Master's degree with 2-5 years of experience or PhD in immunology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or molecular biology
- Familiarity with experimental workflow in cell and molecular biology
- Experience in designing and developing protein assays
- Proficiency in immunoassays such as Western blotting, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and ELISA
- Good communication skills for research data sharing and technical troubleshooting
- Understanding of computational biology tools and basic programming languages
