Job Description: Compensation Advisory is a function within TD's Global Total Rewards group. We are the in-house compensation consulting team that provides advice and tailored compensation solutions for each business group based on their respective strategy and business requirements. Job Description The Sr. Compensation Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Compensation Advisory, delivering professional research, high-quality analytics and technical services to one of TD's lines of business that support the design, development, implementation and evaluation of compensation policies and programs. This role will support the Canadian Personal Banking portfolio. Key accountabilities of this role include: Complete all aspects of the market intelligence process including research, end-to-end employee matching, data validation, interpretation and professional presentation of findings for TD's line of business; Prepare detailed compensation analytics and models as needed to support both cyclical and ad hoc project-related deliverables; Support all compensation recommendations with market intelligence expertise and equity valuations; Monitor trends in the external market; Support the team of advisors with professional business-related research and analysis. Key Competencies Analytical/conceptual thinking: Strong skills in numeracy, mathematics and analytics, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify trends and provide succinct explanations behind the data. Project management: Well organized with strong project management skills and able to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Learning agility: A self-initiated learner who actively seeks out experiences, enjoys complex problems and leverages a combination of theory and experience to quickly solve complex problems. Persuasive communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tell a compelling story with data to create persuasive recommendations. Accountability & Ownership: Someone with a focus on accuracy, who sees a job through right to the end and owns the results. Process Efficiency: A focus on building models / processes to help complete deliverables in a quick and efficient manner. Additional Job Requirements Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Management, Human Resources / Labour Relations, Mathematics or Economics; Direct experience in a Compensation role is an asset; Working towards CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation would be considered an asset; 3+ years of relevant experience.
