SEN Coordinator

Role Overview: As the SEN (Special Educational Needs) Coordinator at The Shri Ram Academy (TSRA) in Hyderabad's Financial District, your main responsibility will be overseeing the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. You will collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to provide appropriate interventions, monitor progress, and update plans as necessary. Additionally, you will provide training and support to staff on inclusive teaching strategies to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, specialists, and parents, to address student needs effectively - Identify and address diverse learning needs through developmental assessments and intervention strategies - Train and mentor teachers on implementing effective inclusive education practices - Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Qualifications: - Strong knowledge and experience in developing and managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) - Proficiency in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, specialists, and parents, to address student needs - Expertise in identifying and addressing diverse learning needs, including developmental assessments and intervention strategies - Familiarity with training and mentoring teachers on implementing effective inclusive education practices - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills - A degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field; additional certifications in inclusive education or SEN are an advantage - Prior experience in an IB school environment is preferred but not required Role Overview: As the SEN (Special Educational Needs) Coordinator at The Shri Ram Academy (TSRA) in Hyderabad's Financial District, your main responsibility will be overseeing the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
