Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Research Assistant / Research Assistant (Finance) to support financial analysis, market research, and data-driven decision-making. This role is focused on assisting with the collection, processing, and interpretation of financial and economic information to help inform business strategy and investment-related decisions.

The successful candidate will assist in gathering financial data from company reports, databases, and market sources, and help organize this information into structured formats for analysis. You will support research projects related to financial markets, industry performance, macroeconomic trends, and company analysis.

Key responsibilities include assisting with financial modeling tasks, preparing data summaries, maintaining financial datasets, and supporting the creation of reports and presentations. You will help analyze financial statements, track key performance indicators, and identify relevant trends or patterns that may impact business or investment decisions.

The role also involves supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, reconciling financial information, and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial data. You will collaborate with finance teams to assist in preparing reports, conducting ad hoc analysis, and maintaining documentation for internal use.

Additional responsibilities may include assisting with equity or industry research, supporting valuation exercises, updating spreadsheets and financial databases, and helping prepare materials for internal or external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working with numbers and financial data.

Qualifications
