Graphic Designer & Illustrator

Company Description The Ink Moon is an emerging art print business that specialises in creating and selling exclusive original art prints characterised by a warm, nostalgic, and cozy Indian aesthetic. We offer affordable luxury wall art prints that enhance home decor. We're seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to elevate our online presence and work.

Role Description

This is a full-time Graphic Designer & Illustrator position based in Noida with a hybrid work model, allowing for occasional work-from-home flexibility. You will be responsible for conceptualising and creating visual content, including mockups, branding materials, illustrations and typography solutions.

What you’ll do

• Create high‑quality mockups for new and existing artwork for the website (product, lifestyle, flatlay).
• Design on‑brand creatives for website banners, category images, email headers, and social media (static and short animated formats).
• Produce print‑ready files for new artwork.
• Produce final artwork/illustrations and print‑ready files for B2B orders in collaboration with the founder (follow client specs, bleeds, colour profiles).
• Create engaging content in collaboration with our Social Media Manager for all platforms.
• Rapidly iterate on concepts from feedback and maintain a consistent visual language across channels.
• Organise and deliver source files; manage and update the art asset library.

Qualifications

Must-have skills & experience

• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong, demonstrable illustration skills on Procreate.
• Experience creating e‑commerce product mockups and social
• Knowledge and experience using AI programs to create realistic image and video content for marketing purposes.
• Knowledge of print‑ready file prep (CMYK/RGB, bleeds, DPI, vector vs raster).
• Excellent aesthetic judgment and ability to match/extend The Ink Moon’s brand style.
• Portfolio showing product mockups, social assets, and print/B2B artwork.

Nice-to-have

• Basic motion/animation skills (GIF/short MP4).
• Photo retouching and compositing experience.
• Prior work with D2C/lifestyle brands.
• Knowledge and skills in Typography to deliver visually appealing and readable designs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role and a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects is highly desirable.
