Our work is rooted in creating a safe, inclusive, and client-centered space, with a strong emphasis on trauma recovery, nervous system regulation, and deep, meaningful healing.

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate EMDR-trained Registered Social Worker (MSW) to join our growing team.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate is a trauma-informed clinician with advanced EMDR training who is comfortable working with complex trauma presentations. You will provide virtual psychotherapy services to individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and related concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
  • Active registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
  • Authorized to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy in Ontario

Clinical Training & Experience

  • Completed EMDR Basic Training (EMDRIA-approved or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience providing EMDR therapy
  • Strong foundation in trauma-informed care and the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model
  • Experience working with:
  • Complex trauma
  • Intimate partner violence and abuse
  • First responders
  • Attachment-related concerns

Additional Modalities (Preferred)

Clinicians with training and experience in one or more of the following are strongly preferred:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Somatic-based approaches (e.g., Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Attachment-based therapies
  • Parts work / ego state therapies

Professional & Practice Requirements

  • Maintain professional liability insurance (minimum $2 million coverage)
  • Adhere to the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics set by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and consultation

Virtual Practice Requirements

  • Access to a secure, private, and confidential workspace for virtual sessions
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Comfortable using Jane App (or willingness to learn) for scheduling, charting, and billing
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with:
  • Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA)
  • Applicable ethical and legal standards governing psychotherapy in Ontario
