Job Purpose: We are looking for a Sr. Accountant- Finance & Accounts with excellent administrative and analytical financial skills to join our team. She/He is expected to examine and compile financial reports and be well acquainted with governmental regulations. To ensure success, Associate- Finance & Accounts should be very detail-oriented and be problem-solver. S/He must also have strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant to provide support to the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks and contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department & the organisation as a whole. The ideal candidate will be required to prepare, compute, manage, research and analyse all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of the organisation

Responsible for day to day accounts, monthly closing company accounting and financial guidelines

• Expertise in TALLY for all the modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation, Cash Management and General Ledger
• Statutory compliance (GST, PF, PT, TDS, Income Tax returns)
• Liaising with banks, secretarial team to handle matters pertaining to RBI, MCA, ROC etc and any other adhoc work
• Dealing with auditors for Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, various other audits as per statute including Transfer Pricing

Preferred candidate profile

a) Qualifications & Experience -

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or relevant field
• 2 -4 years of proven working experience as an accountant or accounts executive

b) Skills & Knowledge -

• Excellent organizing abilities and great attention to detail and confidentiality
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical judgement
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and Proficient in Tally software
