ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Episode Research

• Research different themes and potential guests of interest
• Prepare background research and potential questions for each guest

Post-Episode Work

• Coordinate with the video editing team for completing all post-production work for the episode
• Identify short clips and reels to be created from the episode
• Prepare summaries of episode and key takeaways
• Prepare a list of key policy recommendations from the episode

Substack and LinkedIn Newsletters

• Prepare content for Substack and LinkedIn newsletters
• Prepare thematic newsletters with insights from across episodes
• Incorporate best practices from other successful Substacks globally

Research Work for Op-Eds, Columns and Opinion pieces

• Identify and propose ideas for op-eds/ opinion pieces
• Prepare draft outlines for articles in different publications
• Prepare presentations for different conferences, events, workshops

Website

a. Keep the website updated and identify continuous enhancements

b. Prepare and post Podcast Transcripts and Key Takeaways

Create Content Tailored for Social Media

• Ideate interesting, engaging content for social media
• Prepare content for regular Tweets, Insta reels, LinkedIn posts, Instagram carousel posts etc. basis latest news and the episodes.
• Coordinate with the social media team for the same

Others

The above outlined roles and responsibilities will keep evolving, and will include other work streams or projects that might come up.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors or Master's degrees in fields such as international relations, public policy, economics, social science, management, etc.
• 2 - 4 years of research, public policy, academic, journalism and/or consulting experience (internships in related fields also preferred)
• Prior experience working or interning in policy think tanks, journalism or media outlets, etc. preferred, but not necessary
• Experience working with a podcast or other video-based content platforms a plus
• Analytical mind with keen interest in technology, policy, geopolitics, international relations, economics, and other related fields.
• Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information, understand and relay ideas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work in a timely manner, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at the same time
• Highly focused and detail-oriented with a commitment to high quality output and presentation
• Proficient in using social media platforms as well as AI tools
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as manage multiple external teams.

OTHER KEY TERMS

• Location: New Delhi, India (hybrid optional)
• Compensation: Competitive, depending on experience
• Work Hours: Mondays to Fridays, with occasional Saturdays
