🔍 About the Role

We are hiring an experienced EDGE Tech Lead / EDGE Developer to design and build next-generation IoT-based edge applications for KNX building management and home automation platforms. This role involves working on embedded gateways, multi-application frameworks, and modern web interfaces.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Java, OSGi, Linux-based development, IoT protocols, and Angular, along with hands-on experience in building scalable edge solutions.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop OSGi-based Java applications for embedded edge gateways
• Build and maintain multi-application architectures for IoT platforms
• Develop Angular-based web frontends for device and application management
• Implement protocol serialization/deserialization (e.g., Matter bridge, protocol conversions)
• Work on new feature development and enhancements
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment

🧠 Required Skills & Expertise

✅ Must-Have

• Strong experience in Linux application development (Java-based)
• Hands-on expertise in OSGi framework and modular Java systems
• Experience with IoT and networking protocols such as:
• KNX, MQTT, HTTPS, WebSocket, mDNS, Matter, SIP
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and embedded systems
• Experience with Linux build systems
• Proficiency in Angular for frontend development

➕ Good-to-Have

• Knowledge of Matter protocol and Wi-Fi connectivity
• Experience with voice assistant integrations (Alexa, Google Assistant, etc.)
• Familiarity with Apple HomeKit accessories and ecosystem
