Job Description

As an IT Support Specialist at TEC, your role is crucial as you will be the first point of contact for resolving technology-related issues for both TEC Clients and Staff. Your primary objective is to ensure that employees and clients receive efficient services without any technical interruptions. You will be responsible for supporting hardware, software, and network systems.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide IT support for TEC users and clients, including on-site support for TEC business systems such as video conferencing, access control, and telephone networks.
  • Manage and maintain TEC IT equipment assets including network devices, computers, printers, and servers.
  • Perform data security tasks like antivirus and data backup as per headquarters' requirements.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects and troubleshoot switch and wireless LAN configurations.
  • Proactively monitor network devices using tools like PRTG.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Windows, MacOS, printer setups, iOS, and Android mobile devices.
  • Possess knowledge of NAS, Synology, and other backup solutions, along with Windows Server 2012 and Active Directory.
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, CCNA, MSCE, or Linux certification is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a computer-related field.
  • *Essential Skills:**
  • Proficiency in MS Active Directory, Office365, and VMWare.
  • Experience and knowledge in network, wireless systems, and IP telephony.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Mac, and/or Linux desktop operating systems.
  • Proficient in supporting MS Office suites, Apple, and Android smart devices.
  • Skilled in PC hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, including Mac OS.
