Role Overview
The Head – Academic Operations will oversee the planning, monitoring, and implementation of preschool programs across multiple centers. The role focuses on driving academic and operational excellence, ensuring adherence to policies and quality standards, and fostering high-quality learning environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Visioning and Planning
- Drive the mission, vision, and values across all teams and centers.
- Build a culture of collaboration, respect, and accountability.
- Promote excellence in early childhood education and strengthen organizational reputation.
- Support strategic planning and long-term program development.
B. Academics
- Design, review, and implement Early Childhood curriculum programs (Toddler to HKG).
- Plan and evaluate co-curricular activities and academic initiatives.
- Develop assessment tools and monitor student and center performance.
- Support inclusive education practices in collaboration with specialists.
- Maintain academic documentation, policies, and SOPs.
C. Guidance and Monitoring
- Conduct regular center visits for academic and operational reviews.
- Mentor headteachers, teachers, and operational teams to ensure quality delivery.
- Monitor adherence to curriculum standards and operational processes.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
D. Staffing and Professional Development
- Plan and facilitate training programs for academic and administrative staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and identify development needs.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and team capacity-building initiatives.
- Promote leadership development and employee engagement.
E. Communication and Outreach
- Oversee communication strategies, PR initiatives, and social media engagement.
- Ensure effective communication between field teams and management.
- Address stakeholder concerns and ensure timely reporting.
- Support outreach and awareness programs.
F. Administration
- Supervise administrative operations, events, and external visits.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
- Maintain safety, hygiene, and infrastructure standards across centers.
- Coordinate operational audits and process improvements.
G. Finance and Resource Management
- Collaborate on budgeting, planning, and financial tracking.
- Monitor fund utilization and maintain financial records.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and cost management.
- Support procurement and vendor coordination.
H. Networking and Liaison
- Build partnerships with educational bodies, NGOs, and government departments.
- Represent the organization in external meetings and events.
- Support advocacy and community engagement initiatives.
I. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare periodic reports, feasibility studies, and analytical reviews.
- Monitor project outcomes and maintain transparency in reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data management systems.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
J. Safety and Infrastructure
- Assess infrastructure requirements and ensure safety compliance.
- Coordinate maintenance and facility upgrades.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Development, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy, curriculum development, and educational best practices.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and educational regulations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in monitoring, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement preferred.
Experience
- 10–12 years of experience in education management or academic operations.
- 2–3 years of classroom teaching experience preferred.
- 3+ years in educational program management.
- 5+ years in leadership or project management roles within education or nonprofit sectors.
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
