JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized, “hands-on” Operations & Inventory Management Specialist to lead our inventory control and expand our presence across multiple online sales platforms. - Receiving & Organization: Unbox, verify, and properly store incoming shipments. Maintain an organized, documented storage system to ensure all products are accounted for and easily locatable.
- Distribution: Act as the "point of contact" for the team, handing out required parts for builds and updating system records to maintain accurate counts.
2. Digital Sales & Archiving (The Storefront)
- System Creation: Build and maintain a master database (spreadsheet-based) to track all in-house inventory, location, and sales status of internet-listed sales.
- Multi-Channel Sales: Manage the end-to-end sales process on eBay, Facebook Groups, and Enthusiast Forums.
- Compliance: Identify "restricted" emergency equipment (sirens, specific lighting) and ensure they are marketed through appropriate, non-restricted channels.
3. Research & Documentation
- Technical Identification: Use manuals and diagrams to identify obscure vintage parts and write accurate technical descriptions for buyers.
- Photography: Document the condition of vintage gear to ensure transparency and maintain our high seller rating.
