This position provides proactive leadership, technical expertise, and accountability to achieve and sustain optimal reliability, maintainability, and operational performance within the manufacturing facility. The primary focus of this role is improving asset and production reliability by eliminating repetitive failures, supporting maintenance operations, and managing effective Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs. 

Opportunity Details 

  • Pay Rate: Starting at $33.00 per hour (+ shift differential, when applicable) 

  • Shift: Day Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm – flex as needed  

What You’ll Do 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical issues on production lines while ensuring equipment complies with production procedures and process specifications. 

  • Repair and maintain production equipment, machinery, and instruments to ensure reliable operation and compliance with process requirements. 

  • Respond to emergencies, equipment breakdowns, and malfunctions to minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations. 

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records to identify and address recurring issues. 

  • Prepare diagrams, drawings, charts, calculations, and reports to define reliability issues and recommend solutions. 

  • Manage reliability data, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), work order failure code analysis, asset hierarchy, bills of materials, and technical documentation. 

  • Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. 

  • Manage and optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs by developing, monitoring, and refining maintenance processes. 

  • Facilitate Equipment Criticality assessments and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) sessions. 

  • Ensure Predictive Maintenance technologies such as oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonics, and motor testing are properly applied to manufacturing assets. 

  • Develop and implement updates to equipment maintenance plans based on failure analysis, historical data, reliability principles, and best practices. 

  • Partner with equipment manufacturers during factory and site acceptance testing. 

  • Develop short- and long-term continuous improvement plans to reduce equipment failures. 

  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that enable employees to perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs safely and effectively. 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience required. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of equipment reliability experience preferred. 

  • Mechanical and electrical experience maintaining production equipment in a continuous manufacturing environment. 

  • Experience working within a structured maintenance organization and using maintenance planning tools. 

  • Experience working in an ISO-certified or otherwise documented environment. 

  • Experience tracking and managing Preventive and Predictive Maintenance performance metrics. 

  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, mechanical/electrical devices, circuits, robotics, PLCs, and computer-controlled equipment. 

  • Experience using computerized maintenance management and planning software. 

  • Experience using analysis tools to improve equipment reliability.
