Full-Time Medical Assistant – Orthopedic Surgery Practice

A quality-focused Orthopedic Surgery practice is seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant for a full-time position. A minimum commitment of one year is strongly preferred.

Ideal for Pre-Med, PA, or PT Applicants:

This position serves as an excellent gap-year opportunity for those planning to apply to medical, PA, or PT school. It includes the opportunity to observe surgeries (during free time) and receive mentorship from experienced Orthopedic Surgeons.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication and listening skills

Interest in healthcare or health sciences

Adaptability, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

Room and triage patients, manage clinic flow

Respond to patient messages and inquiries

Fit patients for DME and supplies

Prepare and assist with injections and clinical procedures (these can be taught)

Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical spaces

Additional office tasks as needed

Compensation & Schedule:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience 18.00 to 20.00

Paid time off and employee benefits

Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 (Typical shift: 7:45 AM–4:15 PM)
