We’re looking for someone to be the friendly voice behind our phones and inbox. As a customer service rep for Bugman Pest Control, you’ll be the first point of contact for people dealing with everything from ants in the kitchen to rats in the attic, and your job is to help them feel taken care of from the very first conversation.

This role is perfect for someone who knows the Fraser Valley well, can handle a steady stream of calls and emails, and writes clearly and kindly (even when someone’s panicking about a wasp nest). We’ll show you how we do things, but you need to be the kind of person who picks things up quickly and isn’t afraid to ask questions along the way.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE OFFICE EXPERIENCE & EXPERIENCE WITH ANSERING MINIMUM OF 60 CALLS / DAY

• Self-learner, as most of our training is via written docs & videos.
• Able to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Organized and self-motivated
• Professional and confident demeanor and phone skills
• Proficient with Google Drive applications such as Google Docs & Google Sheets
• Proficient with technology in general, as most of our business is cloud-based.
• Experience using Jobber is an asset, but not required.
• Sales experience is an asset, but not required.

Schedule

We are looking for someone with availability Friday to Monday. We are hoping for a 12-8 Friday, 10-4 Saturday and Sunday and 9-1 Monday but we have some flexibility with hours during those days. This position is seasonal with potential to continue into the fall for the right candidate.

You do not need to be located in Abbotsford as this is a Work From Home position, but preference is given to those living in the Fraser Valley and know the area.

Wage

Starts at $20/hr during training, increased to $23/hr once fully trained. How quickly you complete your training is entirely dependent on you, we give you all the tools you need to complete your training within 1 week, and to be earning the full wage within 2-3 weeks, but if you are a slow learner it will take longer.

Advancement is available for those interested in shifting into a leadership role and taking on additional responsibilities.
